The Story

Built out of frustration
with the dealer model.

In 2019, our founders were running excavation and land-clearing operations out of Houston, Texas. Every major equipment purchase meant weeks of lead time, dealer markup that pushed prices 40%+ above real value, and support staff who’d never sat in a cab.

They decided to fix it. A warehouse in Brooklyn, direct manufacturer relationships, and a single rule: only sell machines you’d stake your own schedule on. NorthRig Equipment was born.

Our team includes former heavy equipment operators, a certified diesel mechanic who handles pre-delivery inspections, and a logistics coordinator who has never missed a committed delivery date. We ship to 48 states.

Return Policy

30-day returns on unused equipment. We make it simple.

30-Day Return Window

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for machines that are unused, in original condition, and in original crating/packaging. Equipment that has been operated, fueled, or modified is not eligible for return.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email contact@northrig.shop with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within 2 business days.
  3. Ship the machine back freight prepaid using the RMA number on all packaging.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect the returned equipment, we will issue a refund within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns. Original freight costs are non-refundable.

Defective or Damaged Equipment

If your machine arrives damaged or with a verified manufacturing defect, we will cover all return shipping costs and provide a full replacement or refund with no restocking fee. Report damage within 48 hours of delivery with photos to contact@northrig.shop.

Warranty Claims

Warranty issues (within the 1-year manufacturer warranty) are handled separately — contact us at (888) 601-4782 and we will coordinate with the manufacturer for repair or replacement.

Free Freight on All Orders

All heavy equipment ships via freight carrier (LTL or full truckload depending on order size). Freight is included in the listed price for all continental US deliveries — no hidden charges at checkout.

Delivery Timeframes

  • Excavators & Skid Steers: 7–12 business days after order confirmation
  • PTO Attachments (SG24): 3–7 business days
  • Times are estimates; actual delivery depends on carrier routing and your location.

Delivery Type

Standard delivery is curbside. If you require lift-gate service or inside delivery, contact us before ordering to arrange those options.

Before Delivery

You will receive a call from the freight carrier 24–48 hours before delivery to schedule a delivery window. Ensure someone is present to inspect the machine and sign the delivery receipt.

Inspecting Your Delivery

Inspect the machine carefully before signing. Note any visible damage on the receipt. If damage is found, accept the delivery, photograph the damage, and contact us at contact@northrig.shop within 48 hours.
